Checking your prescription for spectacles or contact lenses is only one part of having an eye examination. More importantly, monitoring eye health and the early detection of glaucoma, macular degeneration, cataracts...
If you need an eyesight test to renewal or obtain your driver licence, we can provide you with a DL12 form (eyesight certificate) for you to take to the licencing agency.
This will be a short appointment for a vision screening and peripheral vision check.
Orthokeratology, also known as Ortho-K lenses, involves wearing a pair of specially designed contact lens aiming to correct your prescription while you sleep. This leaves you free of glasses and contact lenses during the day time. Most importantly, Ortho-K is a great option for myopia control in children and teenagers. We offer a free initial assessment to have a more in depth discussion about Ortho-K.
